FRENCH FRIES RECIPE


Ingredients:


6 large baking potatoes, cut into strips
Oil for deep frying
Salt

How to make french fries:
  • Cut the potatoes into strips of about 1/3 to 1/2-inch thickness and width
  • Soak potatoes in ice cold water for 1 hour at room temperature. Drain well; pat dry with paper towels.
  • Heat oil in deep fryer to about 375°.
  • Place potato strips in a single layer in deep fry basket; fry in hot oil for about 4 minutes, or until golden brown and tender.
  • Drain the homemade french fries on paper towels then keep warm in the oven while frying remaining batches.

Ingredients:

2 Big Potatoes (boiled and mashed)
7-8 Bread Slices
Coriander leaves finely chopped
Green chilies (chopped)
Red Chili powder to taste
1/4th tsp Garam Masala powder
Oil for frying

Preparation:
  • Add salt, chili powder, gram masala, green chilies and coriander leaves to the mashed potatoes, mix well
  • Take some water in a bowl and dip a bread slice for few seconds.
  • Squeeze the water from the bread by pressing between palms gently.
  • Place a tbsp potato mixture over the damp bread and roll and seal the edges of the bread in such a way that the filling does not come out from any part of the bread.
  • Repeat the same process for making more rolls.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry on medium flame till golden brown.
  • Serve bread rolls hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 large cauliflower, chopped into florets
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika or red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp herbes
  • salt or black salt
Instructions
  1. blanch the cauliflower for 5-7 minutes in hot water.
  2. mix the olive oil, herbs, all the spice powders and salt together.
  3. add the cauliflower florets to this mixture and gently toss so that the mixture evenly coats all the cauliflower florets.
  4. bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes for 180 or 190 degree celsius.
  5. garnish with basil leaves and serve hot or warm with a veggie or cheesy dip. you can also serve this dish with any indian chutney or just plain curd or raita.

Ingredients



  1. 4 Chapatis
  2. Any sabzi
  3. 2 tbspn green/red pesto(
    a sauce for pasta, consisting of basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, oil, and Parmesan cheese, all crushed together)
  4. 1 cube cheese
  5. 2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
  6. 1 onion (finely chopped)
  7. 1 cucumber (finely chopped)
  8. 2 tbspn oil
How to make Indian Pizza

Cut chapati into 4 pieces, heat oil in a pan and roast the chapatis till they turn crisp. Mix pesto in the sabzi and grate cheese in it. Spread the sabzi on roasted chapatis, top it with chopped tomatoes, onion and cucumber. You can garnish it with more cheese if you wish.In Case instead of  pesto you can use salsa dip or plain tomato ketchup instead.

Ingredients:
     bunch coriander (Dhania)chopped 
3-4 green chilies
1 small onion
1 lemon juice
3 tsp sugar
A pinch of amchur
2-3 flakes of garlic
Salt To Taste
red chili powder to taste


How to make coriander chutney :
  • Mix and blend all ingredients thoroughly in a mixie to make a paste.
  • Add little water if required. Your hari chutney is ready.

Aloo Dry|Dry Aloo

Aloo Dry
Ingredients:
4 medium size potatoes
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp masala of your choice
Salt to taste
oil for frying
10 curry leaves
3 big dry red chillies

How to make Aloo Dry
  1. Cook the potatoes in a cooker. Keep it aside.
  2. When the potatoes have cooled down, peel and cut into cubes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and put the potatoes in it. Stir.
  4. Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and masala of your choice and stir well. Add salt.
  5. Sprinkle water and stir well.
  6. When it becomes dry, add 2 tsp oil and fry again in a low flame.
  7. In another small pan add oil and put the chillies in it.
  8. Add the curry leaves and stir.
  9. Add the seasoning to the aloo masala and remove from fire.
  10. Aloo fry is ready.
  11. Remove to a serving bowl and serve with chapathis or pulao.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves or cashews nuts.
